Terms of Service
The short version: It's a free joke game. Be decent in chat, don't cheat or attack the servers, and remember that the flying car isn't real and nobody here is affiliated with any car company.
1. Agreement
Full Self-Flying (the "Game") is published at teslaflyingcar.games ("we", "us"). By playing the Game, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't play.
2. Parody, not affiliated
The Game is an unofficial, fan-made parody. It is not made, sponsored, endorsed or approved by Tesla, Inc., SpaceX, or any other company, product or person it jokes about. Tesla and other names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the subject of the parody. Nothing in the Game is a real product, offer, delivery date, statement or advertisement. There are no pre-orders, and no flying car will be delivered next year.
3. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
4. Your license to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to play the Game for free, for non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the hosted Game as your own, except as the Game's source code license separately allows.
5. Pilot names, chat and conduct
Your pilot name, race chat messages and emoji reactions are shown to other players. You're responsible for what you post. Don't use chat or your pilot name to:
- harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone, or post hate speech or slurs;
- post sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content;
- share anyone's personal information, including your own;
- impersonate another person, company or the game's operators;
- spam, advertise, or post links to scams or malware;
- break any law.
An automatic filter masks offensive words, but it isn't perfect. We may remove pilot names or scores, and block players who break these rules, at our discretion and without notice.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to display it to other players, solely to run the Game.
6. Fair play
Don't cheat or interfere with the Game. That includes:
- submitting altered or automated scores, or using bots;
- exploiting bugs to gain an unfair advantage;
- overloading, probing or attacking our servers;
- trying to access other players' data or pilot keys.
We may remove suspicious leaderboard entries at any time. If you find a bug or a security issue, please tell us at support@teslaflyingcar.games.
7. Availability
The Game is free and provided for fun. We may change, pause or discontinue it, or reset the leaderboard, at any time without notice. Leaderboard positions and scores have no monetary value.
8. No warranty
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the Game will be error-free, secure or always available.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, scores or enjoyment, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to zero, because the Game is free. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
10. Health notice
The Game has flashing lights, fast motion and vibration on some phones. If you have photosensitive epilepsy or a similar condition, take care or avoid playing. Please play responsibly, and never while driving any vehicle, flying or otherwise.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll change the effective date at the top when we do. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new Terms.
